Kot Addu Power Company Limited (KEPCO) has appealed to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to clarify and rectify its recent tariff order to ensure regulatory alignment and safeguard grid stability.
According to NEPRA sources quoted by Business Recorder, ambiguity surrounding the duration of the tariff could potentially affect system support in South Punjab.
In a formal letter to the NEPRA chairman, KEPCO CEO Shahab Qadir Khan sought explicit confirmation that the company’s 495 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) tariff will remain valid for the full three-year term under the Tripartite Power Purchase Agreement (TPPA).
