Pakistan has extended its ban on the use of its airspace by Indian-registered aircraft for an additional month. The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued a new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) regarding this decision.
According to the NOTAM, Pakistan’s airspace will remain closed to all Indian-registered aircraft, including passenger, military, and private jets, from December 25, 2025, to January 23, 2026.
The ban on Indian aircraft has been in place since April 24, 2025, following escalating tensions between the two countries. Since then, the restriction has been periodically extended. The ongoing closure has reportedly caused losses amounting to millions of dollars for Indian airlines.
