After reaching historic highs in global and local markets, gold and silver prices recorded a significant drop for the second consecutive day.
According to sources, in the international bullion market, gold fell by $107 to $4,371 per ounce. Due to the significant decline in international gold prices, local prices also dropped sharply, with gold per tola decreasing by Rs 10,700 to Rs 459,462. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 9,174 to Rs 393,914. It is worth noting that on Monday, the price of gold per tola had dropped by Rs 5,500 to Rs 470,162.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 145, falling from the 8,000 level to Rs 7,930.
