Gold prices jumped sharply, pushing rates higher again in both international and local markets.
According to reports, in the international bullion market, the price of gold rose by a strong 92 dollars per ounce to reach 4,424 dollars per ounce. At the same time, in the local bullion markets, the price of 24 karat gold increased by 9,200 rupees per tola, taking the new price to 464,762 rupees. The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by 7,888 rupees to reach 398,458 rupees.
