Gold Prices Surge Again in Global and Local Markets

Gold became more expensive today as prices saw a significant increase for the second consecutive day in both international and local markets.

In the international bullion market on Tuesday, the price of gold rose by $32 per ounce, bringing the new global rate to $4,456 per ounce.

Meanwhile, in local markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs 3,200, reaching Rs 467,962, while the price per 10 grams rose by Rs 2,743 to Rs 401,201.

Silver prices also rose, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs 338 to Rs 8,361, and the per 10 grams rate up by Rs 290 to Rs 7,168.

It is worth noting that a sharp surge in gold prices was recorded yesterday as well, with international rates at $4,424 per ounce and local rates rising by Rs 9,200 per tola and Rs 7,888 per 10 grams.
