In the global bullion market on Wednesday, gold rose significantly by $43 to reach $4,638 per ounce. Due to the increase in international gold prices, locally, the price of gold per tola also surged by 4,300 PKR, reaching 486,162 PKR for the first time in the country’s history.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by 3,687 PKR to reach 416,805 PKR. It is worth noting that on Tuesday, the price of gold per tola had increased by 900 PKR to reach 481,862 PKR.
At the same time, the price of silver per tola rose sharply by 500 PKR, reaching 9,575 PKR for the first time in the country’s history.
