In view of rising tensions in the region, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held an important telephone conversation to discuss the latest situation in the Middle East.
According to sources, during the call, they discussed measures to address the escalating tensions and conflicts in the region. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated Qatar’s active diplomacy, stating that Qatar is playing a key role in promoting peace and dialogue. He emphasized that Qatar’s constructive engagement is essential for resolving crises, and Pakistan will continue to support such efforts. He also assured that Pakistan will continue to play a positive role in maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East.
Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral relations and reiterated their joint commitment to further strengthen the long-standing and strong ties between Pakistan and Qatar. According to sources, they agreed to maintain close contact in the coming weeks to effectively respond to the evolving geopolitical situation.
The Prime Minister stated that Pakistan will continue to cooperate with Qatar in regional peace efforts and will take all possible measures to promote bilateral relations at every level.
