Pakistan and China Identify Opportunities to Boost Agricultural Trade

Pakistan and China discussed concrete opportunities to expand bilateral trade in agricultural products on Wednesday.

According to sources, a high-level meeting took place between Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and China’s Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zedong. The meeting was held during the ongoing “Pakistan-China Agriculture Investment Conference.” During the discussion, the Federal Minister emphasized taking all possible measures to accelerate trade growth and further strengthen the economic partnership between the two countries.

Both sides reviewed the current state of trade and explored possible avenues for its expansion. The Chinese Ambassador acknowledged the key role of robust agricultural trade and provided an overview of China’s current import regulatory framework. Both parties agreed to maintain this positive momentum through continued dialogue.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, reflecting the enduring strength and resilience of the Pakistan-China partnership, which continues to advance toward new economic opportunities and shared goals.
