Gold and Silver Prices Surge Sharply in Global and Local Markets

On Wednesday, gold prices fell in both international and local markets.

In the global bullion market, gold dropped by 12 dollars to reach 4,444 dollars per ounce. Due to the decline in international gold rates, the local price also decreased by 1,200 rupees, bringing the price of one tola of gold to 466,762 rupees. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by 1,028 rupees to 417,300 rupees. It is worth noting that on Tuesday, the price of one tola of gold had increased by 3,200 rupees to reach 467,962 rupees.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained stable at 8,361 rupees.
