Global and local markets recorded a significant increase in gold and silver prices on Saturday as well.
In the global bullion market, gold rose sharply by 37 dollars to reach 4,509 dollars per ounce. Due to the major increase in international gold prices, the local market also saw a notable rise, with the price of gold per tola increasing by 3,700 rupees to reach 473,262 rupees. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold went up by 3,172 rupees to 405,745 rupees.
It is worth noting that on Friday, the price of gold per tola had increased by 3,400 rupees to 469,562 rupees. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola rose significantly by 270 rupees to reach 8,465 rupees.
