The historic rally in gold and silver prices continues unabated in both international and domestic markets, pushing rates to unprecedented levels.
In the global bullion market, gold recorded a historic increase of USD 141, reaching USD 4,358 per ounce for the first time ever. This sharp rise in international prices drove domestic prices to new records as well.
In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola skyrocketed by Rs 14,100, surpassing the Rs 450,000 mark for the first time in history, and reaching an all-time high of Rs 456,900 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold jumped by Rs 12,089, bringing it to Rs 391,718.
It’s worth noting that on Thursday, gold had already surged by Rs 1,900 per tola, closing at Rs 442,800 per tola.
Meanwhile, silver prices also hit record highs, with the price per tola rising by Rs 167 to Rs 5,504, marking the highest level ever recorded in Pakistan.
