Gold Prices Fall for Third Straight Day as 2026 Begins

Gold prices recorded a decline for the third consecutive day today.

On the first day of 2026, Thursday, the downward trend in gold and silver prices continued in both the international market and local bullion markets.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce fell by another 24 dollars to 4,322 dollars. As a result, in the local bullion market, the price of 24 carat gold per tola dropped by 2,400 rupees to 454,562 rupees.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold in the local market fell by 2,058 rupees to 389,713 rupees.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola declined by 83 rupees to 7,635 rupees, while the price of 10 grams of silver also dropped by 71 rupees to 6,545 rupees.
