Gold prices surged in both international and domestic markets on Saturday, with a notable increase of Rs2,100 per tola in Pakistan.
In the global bullion market, gold rose by $21, reaching $4,016 per ounce. The rise in international rates pushed local gold prices upward as well, with the per tola price climbing to Rs422,700 — an increase of Rs2,100. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,800, reaching Rs362,397.
It is worth noting that on Friday, gold prices had dropped by Rs4,578 per tola, bringing the price down to Rs420,600.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at their record high level of Rs5,100 per tola.
