On Wednesday, gold prices saw a significant increase in both international and local markets.
According to sources, in the global bullion market, gold rose by a notable $148, once again crossing the 5,000 level to reach $5,064 per ounce. Due to the sharp rise in international gold rates, local prices also surged, with gold per tola increasing by a large 14,800 rupees to reach 529,162 rupees, while the price of 10 grams of gold rose by a hefty 12,689 rupees to reach 453,671 rupees. It is worth noting that on Tuesday, the price per tola of gold had surged by a historic 24,000 rupees to 514,362 rupees.
Additionally, the price of silver per tola increased by 109 rupees, reaching 9,255 rupees.
