Gold prices in the international bullion market jumped by a significant $21, reaching $3,886 per ounce. This sharp increase in global rates had a direct impact on the local market, where the price of gold per tola surged by Rs 2,100, hitting an all-time high of Rs 409,878 for the first time in the country’s history.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 1,801 to reach Rs 351,404. On Friday, gold prices had remained stable at Rs 407,778 per tola.
Meanwhile, silver prices also witnessed a notable rise. The per tola price of silver increased by Rs 57, reaching a record high of Rs 4,896.
