At the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will arrive in Pakistan on Tuesday for his first official visit, which will continue until Wednesday.
According to sources, the Foreign Office said in a statement that he will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising senior cabinet ministers and other top officials. During the two-day visit, President Tokayev is expected to meet President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and address the Pakistan-Kazakhstan Business Forum.
The visit will provide a timely and important opportunity for both sides to comprehensively review bilateral relations and explore new avenues to expand cooperation, particularly in trade, logistics, regional and people-to-people connectivity, as well as collaboration at regional and international forums.
