Muhammad Imran Malik Steps Down as Bata Pakistan CEO

Bata Pakistan Limited announced on Thursday that Muhammad Imran Malik has resigned from his positions as Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Board of Bata Pakistan Limited, effective from December 31, 2025.

According to sources, this information was shared in a notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The listed company informed the stock exchange that the temporary vacancy created by this resignation will be filled by the Board of Directors at an appropriate time.

It is worth noting that Bata was established in Pakistan in 1951 and became a public company in 1979. The company is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of all types of footwear, as well as accessories and hosiery products. Bafin B.V. (Netherlands) is Bata’s parent company, while its ultimate parent company is Compass Limited, Bermuda.

As of December 31, 2023, Bata Pakistan had 444 retail outlets across the country, and the company’s annual production capacity stands at 18.394 million pairs of shoes.
