Over 530,000 Pakistanis Migrate to Saudi Arabia in 2025, Remittances Rise 15% to $9.64 Billion

According to official statistics released by the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE), over 500,000 Pakistani workers and professionals migrated to Saudi Arabia in 2025 in search of better employment opportunities and improved living standards.

The data shows that during 2025, 530,256 Pakistani workers settled in various cities across Saudi Arabia, compared to 452,562 in the previous year. This represents an annual increase of 17 percent, meaning 77,694 more workers moved to Saudi Arabia compared to the previous year.

BEOE statistics indicate that since 1972, approximately 7.69 million Pakistani workers have migrated to Saudi Arabia. According to official figures, in 2025, Pakistan’s total workforce migration to various countries amounted to 762,499, of which 69.5 percent went solely to Saudi Arabia. This proportion is significantly higher than last year’s recorded 62 percent.

Meanwhile, according to the State Bank of Pakistan, overseas Pakistanis sent $9.64 billion from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan in 2025, compared to $8.34 billion in 2024, marking a notable annual increase of 15 percent.
