On Friday, the Pakistan Stock Market witnessed modest gains.
By midday, the benchmark KSE-100 index had risen 81.72 points, or 0.05%, reaching 163,006.33 points.
Strong buying activity was observed in key sectors, including commercial banks, oil and gas exploration companies, OMCs, power generation companies, and refineries. Companies like MEB, MEBL, HBL, SNGPL, Hubco, and NBP also traded in the positive zone.
For reference, on Thursday, the KSE-100 index had closed at 162,936.94 points, up 710.66 points or 0.44%.
