According to media reports, a proposal has emerged to reduce petroleum product prices. Sources indicate that kerosene oil is expected to become cheaper by Rs8.92 per liter, while the price of light diesel oil may drop by Rs6.62 per liter.
If the proposed reductions are approved, the current price of petrol, Rs263.45 per liter, is likely to fall to approximately Rs252.85 per liter. Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel is expected to decrease from Rs265.65 to Rs257.06 per liter. Additionally, the price of kerosene oil may decline from Rs180.54 to Rs171.62 per liter.
