Addressing the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers Conference in Islamabad, he said, “Our efforts are based on the belief that no nation can prosper in isolation, and our destinies are closely intertwined. Pakistan believes in global connectivity and multilateral cooperation.”

He urged the international community to unite in promoting peace, achieving sustainable development, and strengthening collective security, emphasizing that shared efforts can create a global environment founded on lasting peace and shared prosperity.

Commitment to Peace and Security

Pakistan remains committed to peaceful relations with its neighbors but warned that extremist groups, including the TTP, continue to threaten security both within and outside Afghanistan. He called for stronger control over terrorist groups operating from Afghan soil.
