US President Donald Trump has once again succeeded in stopping hostilities between Thailand and Cambodia.

According to sources, after speaking with the leaders of both countries, Trump said in a statement that Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to stop all clashes, and that both sides have consented to a complete halt to fighting. Trump said that both countries are ready for peace and continue to maintain trade relations with the United States.

Sources said that following a telephone conversation with President Trump, the Prime Minister of Thailand held a press conference in which he stated that President Trump has expressed concerns over the recent clashes between Thailand and Cambodia and wants a return to a ceasefire.
