IPAK Group Reports PKR 11.13 Billion Quarterly Revenue; Profitability Remains Stable

KARACHI: The Board of Directors of International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) met in Karachi to review the financial results for the first quarter ended September 30, 2026.

The Group reported consolidated revenue of PKR 11.13 billion, an increase of 9.2% over the corresponding period last year. Consolidated profit after tax stood at PKR 705 million, compared with PKR 704 million, while earnings per share were PKR 1.08 against PKR 1.01.

The Group maintained profitability amid a more challenging margin environment. Gross profit stood at PKR 1.62 billion, compared with PKR 1.75 billion in the corresponding quarter. Finance costs declined by 16 %, helping cushion the impact of margin pressure.

Following the substantial capacity ramp-up that supported FY2026 growth, the Group’s focus is increasingly on optimizing its expanded manufacturing platform, improving product mix and strengthening its market presence. Quarterly margins also reflect the normalization of trading conditions following the exceptional benefits witnessed during the last two quarters preceding financial year.

Group export sales almost doubled to PKR 3,515 million, equivalent to approximately USD 12.68 million, compared with PKR 2,442 million in the corresponding quarter, reflecting continued progress in international markets.

On a standalone basis, IPAK recorded revenue of PKR 3.42 billion and profit after tax of PKR 211 million.

Looking ahead, the Group faces supply chain challenges arising from the ongoing Middle East crisis, with heightened uncertainty around raw material availability, shipping routes, delivery timelines and costs. Management’s immediate priorities are securing continuity of supplies, maintaining operational resilience and managing working capital prudently, alongside its focus on efficiency, value-added products and export development.
