A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) contingent, comprising F-16 Block-52 fighter jets along with air and ground crew, has arrived at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The PAF team will participate in the multinational air exercise “Spires of Victory-2026.”
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the exercise includes the air forces of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, France, Italy, Greece, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. ISPR stated that the exercise provides a strong platform for mutual coordination, operational collaboration, professional insight, and capability enhancement among participating air forces. It highlights the importance of large-scale air power deployment, night-time operations, integrated ISR, and operations in a modern electronic warfare environment.
ISPR further explained that participation in this multinational forum allows the PAF to strengthen interoperability with partner air forces and test its operational readiness in a technology-intensive combat environment. For this international deployment, PAF fighter jets conducted non-stop flights from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, demonstrating the Air Force’s long-range operational reach and combat capabilities.
During the exercise, PAF pilots flying F-16 Block-52 aircraft equipped with advanced avionics and Beyond Visual Range (BVR) capabilities will engage with pilots from partner air forces operating various modern fighter jets.
According to ISPR, PAF’s participation in “Spires of Victory-2026” not only reflects its strong commitment to regional and international military cooperation, but also demonstrates its professional expertise and proven ability to operate effectively alongside top-tier contemporary air forces in diverse and challenging operational environments.
