SNGC Proposes Gas Price Hike for Sindh and Balochistan Consumers Ahead of Winter

As winter approaches, consumers in Sindh and Balochistan are likely to face an increase in gas prices.

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has submitted an application to OGRA (Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority) seeking a price hike of Rs.125.41 per MMBTU for consumers in the two provinces.

The proposed increase applies to the current fiscal year, with SSGC requesting to set the average gas price at Rs.1,783.96 per MMBTU for Sindh and Balochistan.

OGRA is scheduled to hold a public hearing in Karachi on November 11 to review the proposal.
