The State Bank has introduced a new rule for mobile banking services such as JazzCash, Easypaisa, and others. Now, if you send money to someone, the recipient will not be able to withdraw or spend that amount for two hours.
This waiting period is called the “Cooling Time.”
The purpose of this rule is to give users enough time to report a mistake in case money is sent to the wrong number. During this two-hour window, the transaction can be reviewed and potentially stopped.
In short, this new system is designed to prevent fraud and incorrect transactions in mobile banking.
